Theresa Frang: Race Director
Theresa makes race day happen! She coordinates marshalling, facilities, advertising and ensures the presence of essential safety and comfort amenities on race day, as well as being involved in securing local businesses for lucrative sponsorship deals! She will also frequently be seen at the finish line of several local 10K races, trying to persuade runners dead on their feet from a hard race, to run our fantastic race. On race day she will again be at the finish line, and will be shouting encouragement while photographing you when you stride triumphantly across the finish line….. or collapse in a heap.
Jim Whittington: Head Marshall
Now head of marshalls, Jim has been involved with the RR10K for the last five years and is still yet to actually run the race.
A very amateurish runner having spent most of his sporting life on the rugby fields – he is now looking to run his first ultra in 2017.
Jim very much enjoys the challenge of pulling the race together and is always particularly pleased with the multitude of comments each year on the enthusiasm and expertise of the marshals.
If you need to get hold of him he can usually be found somewhere between the Crown in Radnage and the Mowchak in Stokenchurch. Alternatively give him a shout on firstname.lastname@example.org or tweet him @jimwit1
Donal Phipps : Chief Technical Person
As the digital goon, Donal helps out with the website, and a few other bits and bobs. He’s a long-time lover of running and can often be found slipping and sliding in the beautiful mud around Radnage.
George Hayward : Chief cat-herder
Ain’t nobody herds cats like George herds cats.
